Terms of Service

Welcome to AIZEN. By downloading, installing, or using the AIZEN app ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

AIZEN is a daily rhythm app that provides guided rituals (Meditate, Move, Journal, Focus, Commit), a morning and night that frame the day, task management, health insights, and AI-powered guidance. The Service is available on iOS devices (iPhone and iPad).

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use AIZEN. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Account and Data

AIZEN does not require an account to use. Your data is stored locally on your device. There are no usernames, passwords, or cloud accounts to manage. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your device data through iCloud or other means.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Free Tier

AIZEN's core features are available for free, including all five rituals, the meditation library, task management, the Today view, and three conversations a day with the assistant.

Pro Subscription

AIZEN Pro adds up to 100 conversations a day with the assistant, health insights, your full journal history, Calendar sync, interactive widgets, and Screen Time app blocking. The first 1,000 people to join are founding members and have Pro free for as long as they use the app. For everyone else, pricing:

• Monthly: $6.99/month
• Annual: $49.99/year (save 40%), with a 7-day free trial

Prices are in US dollars. In other countries the App Store shows the local price before you buy.

Billing

• Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and managed by the App Store
• Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase, or when a free trial ends unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ends
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions

Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple per their App Store refund policy. We cannot process refunds directly.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use the Service to transmit harmful, threatening, or illegal content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service's infrastructure
• Use the AI features to generate content that violates any laws or third-party rights
• Redistribute, sublicense, or resell any part of the Service

6. AI Features Disclaimer

The AIZEN AI chat feature provides general wellness guidance and rhythm suggestions. It is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice. AI responses are generated by language models and may occasionally be inaccurate or inappropriate. Do not rely on AIZEN AI for medical decisions.

7. Health Data Disclaimer

AIZEN presents Apple Health data as informational prose to support your awareness of daily patterns. This information is not medical advice. Always consult a healthcare professional for medical concerns. AIZEN does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any medical condition.

8. Intellectual Property

AIZEN, including its design, code, content, and branding, is owned by AIZEN and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

Content you create within AIZEN (journal entries, tasks, goals) remains yours. We claim no ownership over your personal content.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AIZEN is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

In no event shall AIZEN be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising out of your use of the Service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AIZEN and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using AIZEN at any time by deleting the app. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the app.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
